| Could you possably reduce the amount of time it takes to rest. It takes forever to rest then longer to buff than it takes to die in the dungeons | |

| I agree shortning the rest time is a good idea, by the time i rest buffing my wizard seems to take forever. | |

| buffing takes you forever coz you are casting useless spells... that are covered by higher spells or items | |

| I haven't looked at this (reducing rest times) in depth before. If someone knows a way to change it without having to alter default NWN files, I'd take a look at it, but it's not a priority right now. | |

| I just don't want to require a hak file for Knights Templar. I'll look and see if I can figure out how to do it without modifying the core game files. | |

| You have already done an incredable job at keeping the game new and fun with all the changes youve made, if it is something that would be a pain to change please dont worry to much about it. thx for your time, chris/gailtaylor | |

| Forums don't allow me to upload a file, so copy the text inside the quote and palce it into a file named "restduration.2da" inside your override folder. - Quote :
- 2DA V2.0
LABEL DURATION 0 Level0 10000 1 Level1 10500 2 Level2 11000 3 Level3 11500 4 Level4 12000 5 Level5 12500 6 Level6 13000 7 Level7 13500 8 Level8 14000 9 Level9 14500 10 Level10 15000 11 Level11 15500 12 Level12 16000 13 Level13 16500 14 Level14 17000 15 Level15 17500 16 Level16 18000 17 Level17 18500 18 Level18 19000 19 Level19 19500 20 Level20 20000 21 Level21 20500 22 Level22 21000 23 Level23 21500 24 Level24 22000 25 Level25 22500 26 Level26 23000 27 Level27 23500 28 Level28 24000 29 Level29 24500 30 Level30 25000 30 Level30 25500 31 Level31 26000 32 Level32 26500 33 Level33 27000 34 Level34 27500 35 Level35 28000 36 Level36 28500 37 Level37 29000 38 Level38 29500 39 Level39 30000 40 Level40 30500 40 Level40 31000 41 Level41 31500 42 Level42 32000 43 Level43 32500 44 Level44 33000 45 Level45 33500 46 Level46 34000 47 Level47 34500 48 Level48 35000 49 Level49 35500 50 Level50 36000 50 Level50 36500 51 Level51 37000 52 Level52 37500 53 Level53 38000 54 Level54 38500 55 Level55 39000 56 Level56 39500 57 Level57 40000 58 Level58 40500 59 Level59 41000 60 Level60 41500
Only lines 1-40 are used, but the game provides values for 1-60: it does in many other files as well. This is permanent so laong as it remains in the override folder, if you want ti gone simply delete it and everything will be back to normal. Yiou must restart the server after installing. | |

| Thanks for the info on modifying an override file, but I came up with a different fix that does not require any external changes to the server. The only downside is it says "rest canceled" even though the rest is complete. You'll see it in the next update. | |
