Could you possably reduce the amount of time it takes to rest. It takes forever to rest then longer to buff than it takes to die in the dungeons

I agree shortning the rest time is a good idea, by the time i rest buffing my wizard seems to take forever.

buffing takes you forever coz you are casting useless spells... that are covered by higher spells or items

I haven't looked at this (reducing rest times) in depth before. If someone knows a way to change it without having to alter default NWN files, I'd take a look at it, but it's not a priority right now.

I just don't want to require a hak file for Knights Templar. I'll look and see if I can figure out how to do it without modifying the core game files.

You have already done an incredable job at keeping the game new and fun with all the changes youve made, if it is something that would be a pain to change please dont worry to much about it. thx for your time, chris/gailtaylor

Forums don't allow me to upload a file, so copy the text inside the quote and palce it into a file named "restduration.2da" inside your override folder.

Only lines 1-40 are used, but the game provides values for 1-60: it does in many other files as well.

This is permanent so laong as it remains in the override folder, if you want ti gone simply delete it and everything will be back to normal. Yiou must restart the server after installing.

Thanks for the info on modifying an override file, but I came up with a different fix that does not require any external changes to the server. The only downside is it says "rest canceled" even though the rest is complete. You'll see it in the next update.
