I'm not able to play (any!) games much these days -- and will be getting married in a month or so, so can't see things changing game-wise too much. But I've obtained special dispensation to head around to Knoxal's place 1 night each week for playing. That's on Thursday nights (Melbourne, Aust time), so would be great if things are working at that time each week ... probably early early Thursday morning USA time

Your 192.168.x.x IP address will only work for someone on your private network (ie: someone else connected to YOUR ROUTER)
I also have a computer at 192.168.1.100 at my place .. probably 90%+ of people with home router will have a computer set to this IP on their private network
(Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network for details of private networks)

Earlier in this thread we learned that 68.186.220.249:5121 worked better -- yay Smile

Hopefully this is a static IP address from your ISP!

It's just that your ISP change your IP? lol!

DarkSky if you don't know what is the public IP you have from your ISP, then you can just check it browsing from one of your computers one of the internet pages that show it ... there are a lot of webs just for that purpose ... well some of them have adds and other stuff. The most basic and best site for me is:

I put my wireless router on, try this IP until I can get someone to look at it. Direct connect to 10.0.0.2:5121.. If it don't work for you I'm sorry. Sad

OK.. I did like you said, and this is the ip it gave me 68.186.217.8
try yours first.

I also had a friend look up my Linksys router he added a few #, said to tell you guys you should be able to direct connect with this ip now, 192.168.1.100:5121, just give it a try. I don't know what else to do.

Yes, the new IP works, thanks Dark and Seven. By the way, here's the network meter gadget I use on my desktop. It tells you what your internal and external IPs are in addition to other information. You can install it by downloading ver 9.2

I am setting a player password, seem that the hacker is at it again. PM me for the password if you want to play. Again I am very sorry this going on.

Please don't pass the password around, players need to ask me themself or if you know the player.

DungeonX2 down again ... this time went down before Knoxal & I even made it to Helion.
Any chance that your server updates (or whatever it is that makes DX2 crash at this time of the week) can be done at a different time of the week?

Just signed up for the forum, and I remember playing this mod a loooong time ago. I was wondering if it's still up and what the IP was. I haven't played in about a year or two and didn't know about the gamespy failures.
If you could PM or something the Ip to me that'd be great. My user is/was the towering titan so you know i'm legitimate. Thanks! Smile

Sorry.. We had trouble with our cable company, someone cut the lines and we have new ip for some reason. Sad

I seen your post Seven and had a look at the ip and seen it had changed. So sorry. New ip is 96.32.173.52

Don't worry about this problems, those IPs changes are and will be done frequently, it's normal Smile

Who knows? But there are some factors: holy week (eastern holidays), IP change & game-spy stop working, etc ...
